Twitter on Mars?
Thanks to @MarsPhoenix‘s Twitter feed, we now know there is water on the red planet. Apparently the Mars Lander is speaking in the first person and sending tweets across the galaxy in 140 characters or less.
“Are you ready to celebrate? Well, get ready: We have ICE!!!!! Yes, ICE, *WATER ICE* on Mars! w00t!!! Best day ever!!”
Really? “w00t!!”? Cause that doesn’t sound very scientific. But you can ask it a question and it’ll send you back an answer.
All this for only $420 Million.
Seriously though, this shows just how far social networking has progressed (and science too I guess).
