Apparently the Mars Lander is speaking in the first person and sending tweets across the galaxy in 140 characters or less.
“Are you ready to celebrate? Well, get ready: We have ICE!!!!! Yes, ICE, *WATER ICE* on Mars! w00t!!! Best day ever!!”

Really? “w00t!!”? Cause that doesn’t sound very scientific. But you can ask it a question and it’ll send you back an answer.

All this for only $420 Million.

Seriously though, this shows just how far social networking has progressed (and science too I guess).
